Grilled Alaskan Salmon

Our friends, Jim and Debi, served a whole sockeye salmon from the grill. An average sockeye is about 7 lbs. Here are Debi's instructions:


"Hi, Sue! We would put slices of lemon and onion in the cavity. Also sprinkle with lemon pepper. Wrap it up in foil and stick it on the grill. Time to cook would depend on the size. Average size sockeye would be on a hot grill at least 30 min."


I think some tartar sauce would be great with this. My recipe is found in the recipe section on this site.
