Poor Man’s Steak

My friend, Mary Ann, and I got together recently. I was delivering an aluminum steamer pan I found while thrift shopping. She had been looking for one for two years!! Our visit was 90 minutes long. It was great to catch up!

Below is the recipe she shared with me to share with you. 😊 Enjoy!

Poor Man’s Steak

2 lb. Ground beef

1 c. Milk

2 eggs

1/2 tsp. Pepper

2 tsp. Salt

2 cups cracker crumbs

1 large onion, minced

1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

1 soup can milk

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the soup and the 10oz. of milk.

Line a bread pan with wax or parchment paper. Pat the meat mixture into the pan.

Cover and chill overnight. Slice and fry until brown on both sides. Mix mix and soup. Pour over browned meat and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
